Ordering Up Good Design

Don't you want to eat here?

There’s more to giving your customers a positive dining experience than food, drink and atmosphere.  An eatery’s menu can speak more about the quality of food than its building, furniture or wait staff.  Some menus are even displayed outside a restaurant and can either intrigue or repel potential walk-in customers.

Brasserie L’Oustau in Manchester, Vermont, has one of the most beautiful menus I have ever seen.  When perusing it, I was convinced that the food would be amazing because if they put forth the effort to create such a lovely menu, they must obsess over the food.  I was right.

There’s a website called Art of the Menu and they “[catalog] the underrated creativity of menus from around the world.”  It is a treasure trove of inspiration and creativity.  Go check it out!
